Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: age group 18 to 60 years Of either gender ASA physical status I â?? II Scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia of less than three hours duration.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with co-existing moderate to severe systemic illness Pre-existing adrenal disease or adrenocortical insufficiency Patients on steroid medication or those who have received steroids in last three months Sepsis Hypersensitivity to study drug History of seizure disorder or neurological disease.
