Health Condition 1: O- Medical and Surgical Health Condition 2: null- Primary Progressive Pterygium

Interventions

Intervention1: Anchored Conjunctival Rotational Flap: Patients of this group will be treated by Pterygium excision follwed by anchored conjunctival rotational flap follwed by suturing with 8-0 vicryl.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with primary progressive pterygium.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Very early pterygium. 2. Recurrent pterygium. 3. active ocular infection. 4. acute or chronicdacrocystitis. 5. Diagnosed diabetes mellitus. 6. diagnosed bleeding or clotting disorder. 7. Unwilling patients.

no/reduced graft oedema. no/reduced granuloma formation. no/reduced recurrence.Timepoint: 6 months—

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
less/no astigatism. cosmetic purpose will be served.Timepoint: untill there is no recurrence.—
