Interventions

Intervention1: Test group: Indacaterol 150 Î¼g once daily for 6 months Control Intervention1: Control group: Tiotropium 18 Î¼g once daily for 6 months

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: GRADE II AND III COPD ACCORDING TO GOLD GUIDELINES

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Complicated cases of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with respiratory failure. • Patients with clinically significant lung disease other than COPD • Patient on systemic corticosteroid therapy. • History of Myocardial infarction. • Pregnant and lactating mothers. • Psychotic patients • HIV/HBsAg/AntiHCV positive and immunocompromised patients.
