Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Preterm babies less than 37 wks gestational age irrespective of method of delivery with RDS score of more than or equal to 4 and within 6 hours after delivery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. RDS score > or equal to 7 which will require endotracheal intubation and ventilation 2. Infants with major congenital anomalies 3. Infants less than 28 weeks og gestation
