Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Progressive keratoconus •Increase in the maximum K reading >1D for 1year •Spherical refractive error by 0.50D for 6months •Astigmatism by 1.0D 6 months 2.Age 14-45 years 3.Deteriorating visual acuity 4.Contact lens intolerance. 5.Cornea thicker than 400 micron documented by pachymetry.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Corneal scarring 2.Corneal degenerations and opacities 3.Vogt striae 4.Dry eye syndrome. 5.Corneal infections 6.Pterygium 7.Previous surgery 8.Glaucoma

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in the mean K value by 2 diopters and gradually increasing improvements in Uncorrected visual acuity and Best corrected visual acuity.Timepoint: This is a retrospective study of patients undergone collagen cross linking with one year follow up.
