Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of Schizophrenia (F20.0-F20.9) according to ICD-10-DCR 2. Patients on a stable dose of antipsychotic medication 3. Patients of either sex aged between 18-60 years. 4. Right handed, normotensive patients. 5. Patients giving written informed consent. 6. Screened eligible for rTMS.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Current neurological or any comorbid psychiatric disorders. 2. History of substance abuse (Except nicotine and caffeine) in the past one month. 3. History of epilepsy, significant head injury or any neurosurgical procedure. 4. Subjects with cardiac pacemakers or other metal parts in the body. 5. Subjects who have received ECT in past 6 months.
