Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients who are in good systemic health diagnosed with generalized chronic periodontitis having probing pocket depth (PPD) of 4-7 mm in age group ranging from 20 to 55 years. 2.Patients should have minimum 7 teeth in each quadrant. 3.Patients with at least seven teeth in each quadrants having probing pocket depth of 4-7mm 4.Patients who can follow the instructions and maintain a good oral hygiene

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients who have undergone periodontal therapy during the previous 3 months. 2.Subjects on antibiotics or immunosuppressant medication three months prior to the study. 3.Chronic Smokers, Alcoholics, Smokeless tobacco users. 4.Subjects with acute illnesses/acute intraoral lesions. 5.Pregnant & lactating subjects. 6.Medically compromised subjects. 7.Subjects who have undergone extensive restorative dental treatment. 8.Systemic complication which could interfere with periodontal healing.
