Health Condition 1: O- Medical and Surgical Health Condition 2: null- post extubation hemodynamic changes and post operative analgesia and sedation requirement

Intervention1: dexmeditomidine: Dexmeditomidine will be given intramuscularly in the dose of 2mcg/kg.it will be given as a single dose 30 mintues before extubation.
Control Intervention1: normal salin

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: all ASA grade 1 patients falling in the above mentioned age group
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Patients with ASA Grade III and IV - Anticipated difficult airway e.g. Mallampati class III,IV - Patients with compromised cardiac, respiratory, renal or hepatic functions - patients receiving regional anaesthesia - Surgery lasting more than 4 hours - Smokers - Blood loss more than 20% of blood volume -Patients requiring postoperative ventilation
