Intervention1: paracetamol 1 gram infusion: Group A will receive 1gram/100ml of paracetamol infusion in 15 minutes 30 minutes prior to the end of surgery

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA ) grade 1 &2 aged 20-60 years ,of both sexes ,scheduled for orthopedic procedures under general anesthesia
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who do not give consent, patients with known contraindications for paracetamol or pethidine, a history of alcoholism or drug abuse , psychiatric disease, severe allergic,hepatic,renal,cadiovascular or pulmonary disease. Patients with central or peripheral nervous system disease are also excluded from the study.
