Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All outpatients (age above 30 years) attending routine OPD

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known case of Diabetes mellitus; pregnancy; alcoholics attending OPD who are not in the state to give consent; outpatients requiring emergency care.

MeasureTime frame
Proportion (number) of outpatients whose RBG was above or equal to 6.1 mmol/l and got their fasting plasma glucose tested in intervention arm as well as control armTimepoint: Anytime within 3 days from the date of initial screening with RBS. Patients if eligible, should return for definitive tests, fasting and postprandial blood glucose, within three working days of initial Random blood glucose screening
