Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: term newborn babies >=37 weeks delivered by normal vaginal and cesarean delivery at SBVP hospital Meerut, who give consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: •Length of umbilical cord •meconium stained amniotic fluid with non vigorous babies, •multiple births (twins, triplets), •babies of Rh negative mothers, •babies born with any major congenital anomalies •cord prolapse, and cord anomalies like true knots.
