Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with IOP more than 21 mm Hg, 2. No evidence of glaucomatous damage

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with any previous intraocular surgery (other than uncomplicated cataract surgery with PCIOL). 2.Diabetic retinopathy or any disease causing visual field loss or optic disc deterioration

The number of patients who eventually progressed (which was defined as either change in the optic disc or visual fields) ,in both the groups was analysed.Timepoint: 36 months
