Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Patients diagnosed with stroke of MCA territory within 3 months to two years of index event. • Age: 18-65 years. • Brunnstrom stage ; II to IV • MRC (Medical Research Council) grade of wrist and hand muscles of at least > 2. • NIHSS (National Institute of health stroke scale) of between 4 and 12. • Conscious and able to comprehend.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • Active Infection • Immunocompromised state • history or laboratory results indicative of any significant cardiac, endocrine, hematologic, hepatic, immunologic, infectious, metabolic, urologic, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, dermatologic, psychiatric, renal, or other disorders • neoplastic diseases ; malignancy • Autoimmune disorders • Immune-compromised subjects • Progressive neurological worsening, Contraindication to MRI • Female patients with known pregnancy or at risk of pregnancy, positive urine pregnancy test at screening. • Any other reason that, in the opinion of the Principal Investigator, makes the participant unsuitable for participation in the study.
