Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All ASA I and ASAII patients 2. Elective surgeries of expected duration >4 hours 3. Age more than 18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. ASA physical status III and above. 2. Expected or observed intraoperative hemodynamic instability. 3. Patients with pulmonary hypertension. 4. Patients undergoing Neurosurgery. 5. Intra operative switchover to other carrier gas or inhaled anaesthetic agent

1. Volume of inhaled agent (Isoflurane/Desflurane) used per hour. 2. Volume of carrier gas(nitrous oxide/oxygen / medical air) used per hour. Timepoint: 1. Volume of inhaled agent (Isoflurane/Desflurane) used per hour. 2. Volume of carrier gas(nitrous oxide/oxygen / medical air) used per hour.
