Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. best corrected visual acuity > 6/12 2.very high astigmatism 3. recent onset astigmatism 4. scissoring on retinoscopy 5.suspisious on topography maps 6.topography showing inferior steepeneng 7.assymptomatic eyes of patients with established keratoconus in other eye 8. clear ocular media

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. eyes with established keratoconus 2. eyes with other associated ocular pathologies 3.eyes with vision less than 6/12 4.corneal topography showing frank keratoconus 5. on keratometry maps inferior superior assymetry > 1.4 6. eyes with other corneal diseases dystrophies / scars 7. eyes with active infections or inflammations 8. severe dry eyes 9 pregnant or nursing woman 10. patients with previous ocular surgeries
