Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: parent and child intend to stay in study area for one year

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with physical and mental disability Children already on iron supplementation ( > a week in last month) Reported dietary restrictions such as gluten or milk allergy Severe malnourishment Severe anemia ( Hb Reported participation in another biomedical trial (3 months before or during the study)
