Intervention1: Yoga therapy(For 3 months): The yoga therapy group patients also receive the STANDARD MEDICAL THERAPY and Yoga therapy as Add â?? On therapy in group III & V. The patients will undergo
SURYANAMASKARA (3 MIN):3 Rounds with Breathing
ASANA (15 Min):Padahastasana, Konasana, Vakrasana, Ardhamatseyndrasana, Paschimottanasana, Shalabhasana, Dhanurasana, pavanamuktasana, Ardha Halasana, Sarala Matsyasana
PRANAYAMA (10 Min):Nadi Shodhana Pranayama(9 rounds), Bhramari Pranayama (9 rounds) ,Chandra Nadi Pranayama (9 rounds)
MEDITATION (2 Min):A kara (3 rounds ), U kara (3 rounds ), M kara (3 rounds), A-U-M kara (3 rounds )
RELAXATION (10 min):Shavasana, Yoga Nidra & A-U-M Chanting, Total Duration of Practice â?? 45 min. Duration of therapy- 3 months Control Intervention1: Standard medical therapy for diabetes and life

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Group I: Control group (Normal healthy subjects). Group II & III: Prediabetes (FPG: 100-125 mg/dl) Group IV&V: Diabetes (FPG: >=126 mg/dl)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known cases of hypertension, heart disease, endocrinal diseases, history of smoking, kyphoscoliosis, Neuromuscular diseases Drugs known to influence glycemic status like steroids.

1.Role of yoga in preventing the cardiovascular and metabolic dysfunctions in prediabetes and diabetes. 2.Cardiac function assessed by Echocardiography 3.Oxidative stress: Total antioxidant status,Plasma MDA. Biomarkers: Insulin,FBS Inflammation â?? hs CRP,TNFα, γ-interferon, IgE, IL-6, leptin, adiponectin. Oxidative stress marker â?? Plasma MDA Endothelial markers: sICAM -1,Soluble E-selectin, Angiotensin-II, NO comborbities: Renal and creatinine, Lipid profile Timepoint: 0 days, After 12 weeks of Yoga Therapy / LSM
