Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Gestational age more than 36 weeks Women in active stage of labor Primi Para Vertex Presentation of the fetus with engaged fetal head women who can ambulate without much discomfort approximately for 1.5 kms Willingness to participate in the study or having a clear treatment preference

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Gestational age less than 36 weeks Malpresentation of the fetus Multiple pregnancy Antepartum haemorrhage Placenta praevia Abruptio placenta Non engaged fetal head Suboptimal fetal heart beats Pre- eclampsia High risk pregnancy where ambulation and exercises are contraindicated
