Intervention1: Water-soluble vitamins at 2-10 times RDA given through oral route of administration: Cap Becosules 1 BD for 2 months Control Intervention1: Placebo given through oral route of administr

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: For Cases - 1. Drug-naïve overt hypothyroidism 2. Treatment with 100µg/day of levothyroxine For Controls- 1. Healthy Euthyroid individuals

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with secondary causes for thyroid dysfunction or other co-existing endocrine or immunological diseases 2. Patients on medications that interfere with thyroid function 3. Patients who have undergone or are undergoing radiotherapy to the head and neck region 4. Smoking and/or alcohol-drinking 5. Diabetes Mellitus 6. Hypertension 7. Pregnancy â?? at the time of enrollment or during the study period
