Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients aged between 18 to 60 yrs with ASA I & II, Of either sex, undergoing lap cholecystectomy were included

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pt with impaired kidney or liver functions, H/o drug or alcohol abuse, H/o chr pain or daily intake of analgesic, Uncontrolled medical disease (DM & HTN), H/o intake of NSAID within 24 h of surgery,

MeasureTime frame
Total analgesic requirement Timepoint: 24hr postoperatively.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
time of first analgesic requirement, incidence of postoperative pain in terms of VAS score and side effects if any.Timepoint: incidence of postoperative pain in terms of VAS score at 0, 2,4,8,12 and 24hr postoperatively and side effects if any during 24hr postoperatively.
