Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: -Patients undergoing elective laparotomy by midline vertical incision for confirmed or suspected gynecological cancer. -Subcutaneous fat thickness >2cm, as measured intra-operatively
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Immediate re-laparotomy -Mesh repair - Clean wounds.A clean wound is an uninfected operative wound in which no infl ammation is encountered and the respiratory,alimentary,genital,or uninfected urinary tract is not entered.
