Intervention1: Antibiotic-steroid ear drops: Those patients with acute otitis externa in group B will be given antibiotic- steroid ear drops (Hydrocortisone (0mg/1mL) | Neomycin (3400u) | Polymyxin B

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a. Patients with acute otitis externa. b. Patients who are between the age group of 18 and 80.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a. Those who were using ear drops in the past 4 weeks b. Those who are on any regular drugs. c. Those with Otomycosis d. Pregnant women e. Those who have not given consent f. Patients below 18 years of age g. Patients above 80 years of age h. Patients with other co-existing ear disease.

Scoring of pain - with numerical rating from 0-10 with 0 for no pain and 10 for worst pain (Patient Global assesment)Timepoint: 5 days
