Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: paediatric patients of ASA physical status I /II of either sex, in the age group of 1.5 years - 8 years, weighing 10 to 20 kg who are scheduled to undergo elective cataract surgeries
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Children with Upper respiratory tract infection (cough, fever, rhinorrhea) at the day of surgery., Respiratory tract pathology ( oropharynx, larynx ), Anticipated difficult airway, Children at increased risk of aspiration - Gastro esophageal reflux disease, non fasting status , Hiatus hernia, Lung diseases, Cardiorespiratory or cerebrovascular disease
