Intervention1: 57 and 58 labelled ferrous sulphate and nonisotopic zinc sulphate: Day 1: 9 mg of iron (3mg of 57 labelled ferrous sulphate and 6 mg of nonisotopic ferrous sulphate) and 4.2 mg of zinc

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.School going children. 2.Not taking any food supplements or fortified drinks. 3.Not planning to move out during the study duration. 4.Male and female with 6-10 years of age. 5.Hb >= 11.5 g/dl, Zn >65µg/dl, ZnPP 15 µg/L, and TfR

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Children with an elevated serum CRP ( >10 mg/L) will be excluded. 2.Cardiovascular disease on clinical examination or history. 3.Recent history (3 months prior) of serious infections, injuries and/ or surgeries 4.Any food allergy or food intolerance. and/ or health food drinks
