Health Condition 1: null- Preterm infants between 500 to 1500 gms admitted to Surya Childrenâ??s Hospital NICU

Intervention1: 2 hourly feeding schedule: To be started as soon as infant is fit for feeds, full feeds defined as - till infant reaches a feeding volume of 150 mls/kg/day Control Intervention1: 3 hour

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Infants weighing less than or equal 1500 grams, more than 500 grams

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Major congenital malformation/Malformations 2. Gastrointestinal or other congenital malformations having significant impact on gastrointestinal motility or function.
