Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All inductions in primigravid or multigravid women being induced for suspected fetal compromise like IUGR SGA or decreased Liquor, gestational age of 34 weeks or more, singleton pregnancy, cephalic presentations, intact membrane and bishop score less than 6

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Previous caesarean section, multiple pregnancy, bishops score greater than 6, rupture of membrane, foetal compromise, absent end diastolic flow on doppler, severe IUGR, AFI less than 5
