Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient selection A total of 6831 patients with different kinds of cancer participated in this study. These volunteers were divided into two groups. Group I patients Blood samples were collected from 80 patients in this group. These patients [male 45 (20 years to65 years) female 35 (25 years to 55 years)] were newly diagnosed patients with cancer who at the time of blood donation had not taken any medication for at least 14 days and had not yet undergone any treatment for cancer including radiation or chemotherapy but who had opted for surgery. None of the patients had overt diabetes mellitus systemic hypertension or suffered coronary artery disease or had any life-threatening condition at the time of participation in the study. Group II patients Two categories of patients were included in this group the first category included the patients who had previously undergone all available cancer treatments including surgery radiation and chemotherapy and at the time of participation these patients had exhausted all therapeutic options and were under the care of private physicians and family members in their home (n 5411). The second category of the cancer patients in Group II were the volunteers who due to their economic situation and personal reasons did not undergo any conventional treatment for cancer. At the time of participation in the study all patients in Group II in the 2nd category had stopped taking all medications for cancer for at least 2 months (n 1340).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All institutionalized patients were excluded from the study to avoid ambiguity. As in the case of Group I, patients with any other life-threatening condition or severe infection were also excluded.

The significance of the effects of antineoplastins on various kinds of cancer was analyzed by (Ï?) (tau) test using â??â??nullâ??â?? hypothesis, by comparing results obtained in â??â??responderâ??â?? and â??â??non-responderâ??â?? patients. Most patients on the other hand felt a sense of â??â??being wellâ??â?? including a sense of hunger (which usually lacks in cancer patients) shortly after receiving the antineoplastin â??â??patchâ??â?? probably due to the stimulation of carbohydrate metabolism by NO. Regression of malignant lesions was also observed including those in patients with breast cancer.Timepoint: 5 years
