Health Condition 1: null- Low birth weight neonates (1000 - 1800gram) born preterm, who were on minimal respiratory support and hemodynamically stable - for benefits of early Kangaroo mother care.

Intervention1: Early Kangaroo mother care: Initiating Kangaroo mother care in preterm neonates before complete stabilisation continued till baby weight more than 2kg or till 1 month post-discharge.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ï?? All neonates admitted in NICU and NNN with a birth weight between 1000 grams to 1800 grams.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Mechanical ventilation ï?? Neonates on Vasoactive support ï?? NEC- definite ï?? Gestation ï?? Recurrent apnea ï?? Respiratory distress ( RR > 70/min, retraction, grunt) ï?? Mother medically unfit to visit the baby in NICU and NNN ï?? Major congenital malformations
