Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: •Patients having classical symptoms of Type-2 DM (Madhumeha) •Signs and symptoms of Type-2 DM (Madhumeha). •Standard criteria of National Diabetes Data group and W.H.O. for DM is adopted which are as follows: Symptoms of Diabetes + Random B. Glucose >200 mg/dl OR Fasting blood glucose >126 mg/dl OR Two hours blood glucose >200 mg/dl during an oral glucose tolerance test

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Patients with IDDM. 2 Patients having chronic complications (microvascular and macrovascular), pregnancy and lactation. 3 Age group of patients will be below 25 years and over 75 years. 4 Known case of T.B., AIDS, malignancy, cardiac disorders etc.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Decreasing in sign and symptoms of Diabetes melitus (Madhumeha)and also FBS and PPBS values should in normal limits after 8 weeks of intervention.Timepoint: after 8 weeks of intervention.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Patients will be reviewed for sign and symptoms and health condition after 7 day for a period of 4 weeks.Timepoint: after 7th day for a period of 4 weeks.
