Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: One hundred consecutive patients aged between 18-50yrs of either sex and ASA PS I-III undergoing elective surgery under general anesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: I. Patientâ??s refusal II. ASA PS > III III. Coagulopathy IV. Pregnancy V. BMI > 30.00 or BMI VI. Patients with distorted neck anatomy and previous neck surgery

to compare the sono-anatomy of â??medial-oblique approachâ?? probe position with classic US guided â??short-axisâ?? probe position in terms of: i. Relation of internal carotid artery and IJV ii. Vertical and horizontal diameter of IJV iii. Degree of overlapping of IJV over ICA Timepoint: Outcome will be assessed at the time of US probe holding over neck area for scanning
