Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients of either sex with clinical diagnosis of lumbar canal stenosis based on presence of one or more of the following symptoms â?? low back pain, neurological deficit, after sufficient trial of conservative treatment, now planned for decompression alone or decompression with instrumented fusion surgery. 2) Radiographically confirmed cases of lumbar canal stenosis. 3) Patient consenting for and willing for regular follow up evaluations.( for prospective study) 4) Age more than 40 years. 5) Patients who are mentally alert and medically fit for surgery.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • Those not willing for regular evaluation and follow up studies up to 1 year. • Patients with exaggerated lumbar lordosis • Preoperative instability of spine • Patients not willing for surgery.
