Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. Signal from normal tissue of Liver (Sn) and signal from tumour/cirrhotic liver tissue (St,Sc) (as proved by pathology results) shall be significantly different 2.The St, Sn and Sc obtained can be correlated with pathology results 3.Study shall indicate towards the best two light sourcesTimepoint: Spectral outcome will be assessed after the planned surgical procedure is over. In one to two days.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Study shall indicate towards the best two light sourcesTimepoint: outcome will be assessed at 1 week with pathology details
