Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients >18 yrs and 2. Biopsy proven squamous carcinoma of the oropharynx, larynx or hypopharynx 3. T stage â?? T1 to T3 4. N stage â?? N1 to N2c 5. Planned for definitive non- surgical treatment (radiotherapy with or without systemic chemotherapy) 6. ECOG PS 0 to1

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Metastatic disease 2. Prior history of malignancy 3. Prior treatment interventions for the index malignancy (lymph node biopsies allowed)

MeasureTime frame
To standardise the image acquisition with F-MISO PET.Timepoint: pre RT

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To assess changes in tumour characteristics using serial functional imaging with PET-CT (FDG & F-MISO) and MRI (DWI & DSC) in patients with HNSCC over a course of fractionated (chemo) radiotherapy.Timepoint: 9-12 months
