Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ASA I and ASA II in the age group 20 -70 yrs scheduled for elective Head and Neck surgery lasting longer than 2 hours who require to retain the endotracheal tube in the post operative period
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: i) Patients below 20 yrs and above 70yrs of age . ii) ASA grade more than II iii) Patient with arrythmias iv) Patient with Congestive heart failure v) Patient with Bronchial asthma vi) Patient with dementia vii) Patient with heart block viii) Pregnant patient
