Intervention1: intravenous midazolam 0.05mg/kg-propofol co-induction: to evaluate the efficacy of single dose intravenous midazolam given 2 minutes before induction in reducing the dose of propofol

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: any patient comming for elective surgical procedures under general anaesthesia
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: chronic use of hypnotics and analgesics,abnormal body weight[more than 20 percent difference from normal BMI,epileptics on treatment with phenytoin,pregnant and lactating,allergic to study medications,uncorrected hypotension,patient with liver disease
