Control Intervention1: Fasting lipid profile estimation: Estimate fasting lipid profile levels in patients with psoriasis to identify cardiac risk

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. All newly diagnosed cases of psoriasis above the age of 18 years. 2. Patients willing to participate in the study and undergo necessary investigations.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Age less than 18 years. 2. Specific treatment [like Methotrexate, Biologics] taken for psoriasis in last one month prior to enrollment in the study. 3. Patients on medications affecting carbohydrate and lipid metabolism [Beta blockers, Thiazides, Corticosteroids and lipid lowering agents]. 4. Pregnant and lactating women. 5. Patients not willing for the study.
