Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: INCLUSION CRITERIA FOR TONSILLECTOMY 1. Those who are experiencing obstructive problems 2. Recurrent tonsillitis. 3. Age 6-25 years INCLUSION CRITERIA FOR ADENOIDECTOMY 1) age 6-12 years. 2) Children with sleep disordered breathing due to adenoids.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: EXCLUSION CRITERIA for tonsillectomy 1 bleeding and clotting criteria 2 Patients who have been treated with antibiotics for throat infections during last three months. EXCLUSION CRITERIA for adenoidectomy 1. submucous cleft 2.cleft lip. 3) Cleft palate. 4) Velopharyngeal insuffiency.
