Health Condition 1: null- All patietns who present to HPB Surgery department with hepatic hydatid disease and fit into the inclusion and exclusion criteria

Intervention1: Arm A will undergo laparoscopic operation: NA Control Intervention1: Arm B will undergo PAIR (Percutaneous Aspiration, Injection and Reaspiration): NA

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All accessible hydatid liver disease â?? diagnosed on CT scan as a cyst with internal membrane. Patient willing to give informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy. Sepsis. Calcified cysts. Previous intervention (surgical or percutaneous). Medial co-morbidities making the patient unfit for anesthesia.
