Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: After short session of teaching and counseling on Breast feeding willing mothers of LBW babies born at SSKM Hospital, who consented and ensured follow up till 12 month, were included in the study. Selection of KMC & control group was done randomly. Then after short session of teaching & counseling on Breast feeding and KMC, willing mothers who consented to continue KMC and ensured follow up till 12 month, were included in the study as experimental group.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Sick mother, staying far distance not interested to continue follow up was excluded from the study. Baby with gross congenital malformation was excluded from the study.
