Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults between 18 and 75 years old in good general status (Karnofsky performance score >80) All major pancreatic resection surgeries included in the study (Whipple procedure, Distal pancreatectomy, Frey procedure). All Hepatic resections are included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Renal insufficiency (creatinine > 1.1) Intestinal obstruction Emergency surgery Cerebral disorders with danger of aspiration Contraindications for enteral nutrition
