Interventions

Intervention1: Concurrent chemoradiation.: Conventional radiotherapy 66Gy in 33 fractions over 6.5 weeks along with cisplatin(40mg/m2) weekly, for locally advanced squamous cell carcinoma of the head

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)ECOG performance status 0 and 1 2)SCC of oral cavity,oropharynx,hypopharynx and larynx

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)patients with cartilage and bone involvement 2)patients with distant metastasis 3)age >70years
