Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with biopsy proven squamous cell carcinomas of head & neck with stages 3 & 4 patients with ECOG perfomance status 0 to 2 absolute granulocyte count more than 3ooo/mm3 platelet count more than 100000/mm3 normal renal & liver function tests

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with metastatic disease on diagnostic imaging patients with previous history of radiotherapy & treatment for head & neck carcinoma & history of chemotherapy patients with treatment for any other malignancy associated serius medical illness like xeroderma pigmentosum, renal failure, cardiac failure, hepatic failure nasopharyngeal carcinomas, thyroid carcinomas, salivary gland carcinomas
