Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of carpal tunnel syndrome attending neurology OPD

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Wrist trauma or deformity, Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, Contraindication to steroid injection (hypersensitivity, local infections), Advanced disease with atrophy of thenar eminence or marked weakness, Previous surgery or local injection for CTS, Age of patient 18 years, Pregnancy, malignancy, Systemic disorders like (rheumatoid arthritis, hypothyroidism, amyloidosis, etc.).
