Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: • Age over 18 years and less than 75 years • Patients undergoing CABG or valve or combined CABG and Valve surgery • Willing to provide informed consent for participations

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: • End stage renal disease, or CKD stage 5 (GFR • Ongoing infection by positive blood, urine or sputum cultures • Pregnant or lactating females • Advanced liver disease (cirrhosis, ascitis, jaundice) • Evidence of acute kidney injury prior to surgery • Neurologic signs or symptoms or history of increased intracranial pressures • Current participation in another interventional research
