Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Hypertensive patients on treatment with vitamin D deficiency (serum 25 OH vitamin D3 less than 20 ng/ml)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects taking any vitamin, minerals or herbal medications Subjects on any medications known to affect calcium or vitamin D metabolism such as corticosteroids, anti-epileptics Hepatic impairment Renal dysfunction Dermatological disorder Pregnant and lactating women
