Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.All obese patients with Body mass index (BMI) greater than or equal to 40 Kg/m2 2. Obese patients with Body mass index (BMI) 35 -40 Kg/m2 with obesity related co-morbidities

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with large hiatus hernia and/or severe reflux oesophagitis on endoscopy 2. Patients at very high risk for surgery (ASA IV) 3. Patients who refuse consent
