Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Newborn babies upto the age of 44 weeks postmenstrual age, i.e. 4 weeks after expected date of delivery with severe thrombocytopenia admitted in the NICU, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Newborn with Major/life-threatening congenital malformations 2.Known immune thrombocytopenia 3.Birth weight less than 1000 g or less than 30 weeks gestational age and 1st week of life
