Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients of either gender aged between 18 to 55 years American Society of Anaesthesiologists Physical Status (ASA PS) I & II patients scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia requiring orotracheal intubation
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with uncontrolled hypertension, ischaemic heart disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchial asthma or epilepsy BMI 18 and >=30 kg.m-² Patients having nasal obstruction or history of epistaxis Patients with anticipated difficult airway Patients having present or past history of difficult mask ventilation Patients having present grade 3 or 4 laryngoscopy view
