Intervention1: DOTS Calendar: Health workers giving DOTS treatment to tuberculosis patients will be trained to use the DOTS calendar. This calendar is proposed to help in easy tracking and correction

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All Urban Primary Health Centres and their sub-centres at Puducherry will be included in trial.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Primary Health Centres where Pilot study was done will be excluded. Details of patients receiving non-DOTS treatment will be excluded from analysis.

Acceptance score (of DOTS providers after administering questionnaire); Missed dose rate (per hundred stipulated doses under the DOTS providers in one group); Retrieval action rate (per hundred missed treatment days under the DOTS providers in one group)Timepoint: Outcome will be assessed at the end of Trial Period. First week of July 2013.
