Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Above 18 years of age Diagnosed to have hypertension as per JNC7 guidelines Either on or not on treatment With or without left ventricular hypertrophy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Under 18 years of age Congenital Heart Disease Acute Coronary Syndrome Aortic stenosis / regurgitation Isolated mitral regurgitation Rheumatic heart disease Eccentric hypertrophy on 2D echocardiography Pericardial disease Arrhythmias or conduction blocks
